The Hindu concept of yantra, an object or image intended for spiritual contemplation, such as a mandala, is the basis for this work. It is a rather literal exercise in what I call “radial centrism,” whereby one first connects with the center of an object of perception, then progressively integrates the rest while holding that center. Drawn and collaged elements are combined with digital techniques.
